War and Peace: Pts 1-2

PT 1

Tolstoy once gave his wife

a rose from England

and before she even had

a chance to say “How

Lovely” he wrote War

and Peace which was

a lovely book.

PT 2

War & Peace is a long book

and dachshunds are long dogs

People make fun of dachshunds

at times but no one makes fun of

War & Peace it’s the apogee of

modern literary achievement

after all which is not to say

that dachshunds regard it

as such nor will they not

tinkle upon it upon occasion

but one must not rag upon

the hapless dachshund

for other dogs have been

known over the generations

to tinkle upon War & Peace

as well and at times quite robustly

St. Bernards come right

to mind, and some suggest

Vizslas—a noble breed to

be sure—no one can

argue with that, fine

and sinewy.
