 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES for WEB MAGAZINE

The Tilted House Web Magazine is a clean and simple digital rag featuring one, maybe two pieces from local and international authors.


We accept work in all languages. Please provide an English translation.
No previously published work.

Simultaneous submissions are accepted,
but please notify us if your work makes it big elsewhere.

  • POETRY Up to 3 poems. 

  • ESSAYS Up to 2 essays at 2,000 words or fewer (combined).

  • FICTION Up to 2 short stories at 2,000 words or fewer (combined).
    We also consider excerpts from longer works.  

  • FLASH FICTION Up to 3 pieces at 1,000 words or fewer (combined).

  • PLAYS One short play or an excerpt from a longer play. Up to 2,000 words. Standard format. 

  • REVIEWS One review at a time. Up to 2,000 words. We like experimental reviews on anything, not just books. Get weird.
